Setting the Record Straight
January 17, 2008. Let the record show that on this day, we’re taking the first steps to separate out the “back story” from the “action” regarding ISB Main Library programs, services and collections.
- This NEW blog, titled AND addressed as ”edgingahead.edublogs.org” will be where I gather content originally posted at “Web2.0Wondering” (http://isblit.blogspot.com) a “professional” blog that never really got off the ground.
- At the same time this one was floundering, the Main Library blog (http://isbhslibrary.edublogs.org) ” was faring little better. Too much of what I posted there also really belonged on a “professional” blog.
From here on in, then
- this blog will focus on my “professional” ideas, speculations and questions about web2.0, the virtual world and how both these impact on libraries today in general, and ISB’s Main Library in particular.
- my original stab at a HS Library Blog, (originally called “Edging Ahead” and about to be retitled - but still found at http://isbhslibrary.edublogs.org) will focus on much more “kid-relevant” topics, content and presentation.
- I’m going to retire my original attempt at a “professional” blog (http://isblit.blogspot.com) and will launch, but instead a personal blog on my thoughts on literature, reading and writing. I’m going to call this one “Jes’Webbin’It” nd it will also become the forum for my personal writing, which
Because I’m naturally anal retentive, I’ve imported into this NEW “Edging Ahead” blog, all the content originally posted at both “isblit” and “isbhslibrary”
